What is your return & refund policy?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We will not accept any items that do not meet the above conditions or are outside the 30 day return policy window.

You must have PRIOR APPROVAL before sending us any returns or exchanges. No return or exchange will be accepted without prior approval.
Returns will be processed only once your items are received, and all return/exchange conditions have been met. You will be notified of your refund via email. If your items do not meet the requirements of exchange/return, you will be notified within 2 business days via email.

Purple Owl Boutique does not pay for return shipping labels under the following conditions: 1. You simply did not like the style/material of the item. 2. You decided you no longer need, want, or like them item. 3. You received an item size that does not fit.
Purple Owl Boutique will pay for return shipping labels under the following conditions: 1. We made a mistake with your order, yes sometimes mistakes happen. Our packing and shipping is handled 100% by humans. This includes: the wrong size was received, the wrong product was received, or the item came defective from the manufacturer. 2. Once approved for your return or exchange, we will email you a paid shipping label.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, once the return is accepted and a store credit has been applied to your account, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards, pre-ordered, or pre-sale items. Pre-ordered and Pre-sale items are ordered specifically for you before production, therefore they cannot be returned or exchanged. Any item that has been modified, altered, odored or washed cannot be returned.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging and you will be responsible for return shipping costs. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

What is your shipping policy?
United States: We offer free shipping on all orders over $50 to the US. All orders under $50 to the US are charged a $5.95 flat shipping rate for standard ground shipping or $8.75 for expedited/priority shipping.
Canada: All Canada orders ship USPS Economy International and are charged actual shipping costs based on the customers address and calculated during the check out process utilizing USPS live rates.
International: All international orders outside of the US and Canada are shipped DHL International and all shipping costs are actual shipping costs based on the customers address and calculated during checkout utilizing DHL live rates.
Any order to the US for which the client requests expedited shipping outside of the above parameters, this includes overnight shipping or special expedited shipping, will be charged based on the client's shipping address and on actual carrier shipping live rates for the specific required shipping option. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you require special or expedited shipping beyond our current US standard or expedited shipping terms as explained above. We do not offer special expedited shipping outside of the US at this time.
Shipping prices are subject to change at any time and might not apply to all sales or discounted items. Shipping costs might vary on sales and/or promotional items.
Standard shipping orders are typically shipped within 24 hours of being placed Monday-Friday; however during peak times of year shipping can take up to 72 hours. If you require an order to be shipped immediately, or require expedited shipping please reach out to email@example.com.
If for some reason your package goes missing in transit, and it’s not able to be located after search efforts by us and USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL we will issue you a refund. Unfortunately once a package is shown as delivered, we are no longer responsible for the package, and can not help replace its contents. We do offer signature confirmation on all orders for a small fee.
How are packages shipped?
Most orders to the US & Canada are shipped via USPS. At time if necessary we will ship orders via UPS and FedEx. All international orders outside of the US & Canada are shipped via DHL. We ship Monday – Saturday, excluding holidays.
What is your Preorders/Presale Policy?
Pre-order items are NON-REFUNDABLE. These items are ordered “ especially for you” before production, therefore cannot be returned or exchanged. Pre-sale orders are non-refundable. We do not offer cancellations or returns on Kickee Preorder or Presale items. These are special made orders and are final sale. We offer DOWN PAYMENT codes on KicKee Pants Preorders and Presales. These down payments are non-refundable, and they are as such, down payment codes (not sale/clearance/percentage off codes). You will receive a separate invoice via PayPal for the remaining balance from your preorder/presale once we receive shipping confirmation from KicKee Pants. This is typically 2-3 weeks after the Presale/Release date.
Do I have to pay sales tax on my order?
We're obligated to collect sales tax for shipments delivered within the state of IL. However, tax laws and requirements are constantly changing. If you are being charged tax and are outside of IL it means we had to follow a new requirement to collect taxes on purchases made in your state.
